The Northwestern Health Unit has revised its COVID-19 data as it pertains to the Rainy River district.

It initially reported two active cases of COVID-19 yesterday morning which included a new case on Tuesday.

It now says there are no active cases, although there is one probable one still listed.

A spokesperson tells 93.1 The Border new information led to them revising the numbers.

As of this morning, there were 71 cases elsewhere in the health unit’s catchment area that are still active.

Most in the Kenora area and connected to an outbreak at Wabaseemoong Independent Nation near Kenora.

There are two cases active in the Sioux Lookout region and one in the Dryden area.
