Premier Doug Ford is sticking to his vaccination rollout plan for northwestern Ontario.
In an exclusive interview with Acadia News, Ford still believes the province can hit its February 5 target to complete Phase 1.
“Priority is to focus on long-term care, seniors, vulnerable seniors residents and elders in the first nations communities,” says Ford.
Ford stated they will turn to high-risk areas during Phase 2 of the plan.
First responders, teachers and grocery store clerks will be part of that group.
“They have done an incredible job serving the people of Ontario in a real crisis,” says Ford.
