The Rainy River district has become the focus for the Northwestern Health Unit concerning COVID-19.
Another new case was reported yesterday.
According to provincial statistics, there are now 17 active cases within the Health Unit’s entire catchment area.
More than ten are in the town of Rainy River.
Some are connected to an outbreak identified last week at Riverview Manor, a senior’s apartment block.
