The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting one new positive case of COVID-19 in the Kenora area.
The health unit says there’s also one new probable case.
Follow up with the individuals involved and their contacts has started. Anyone identified to be a contact will be notified directly.
The province-wide case count on Wednesday reached 2,408, making it the second-highest daily case count.
There were also 41 new COVID-19-related deaths.
