Rainy River District Reports One New Case Of COVID-19

After a quiet weekend, the Northwestern Health Unit has one new case of COVID-19.

The positive result was confirmed in the Rainy River region.

There were no new cases Saturday and Sunday.

Overall, there have been 135 cases in the Health Unit’s catchment area since the pandemic started.

The positivity rate has inched up to .041 per cent, from an average of 0.3 per cent.
