The 12 Days Of Fire & Co Safety Contest

Here at 93.1 The Border, we have teamed up with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council to bring you The 12 Days Of Fire & Co Safety Contest!

The ACEL services are committed to safely protecting life, property and the environment through public education and fire prevention.

Every weekday from December 9th until December 24th we will be giving away a fire safety prize pack!

Be listening to The Afternoon Show with Johnathan Price just after 4:10 pm weekdays for your cue to call in.
The first caller who can correctly repeat the fire safety tip of the day will be the winner.

Here’s today’s tip…

There’s more to responsible drinking than taking a cab home. With all the festive cheer this time of year, keep a close eye on anyone attempting to cook or smoke while under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol is often a common factor in many fatal fires.”

This safety tip will also be read out on the air weekdays around 11:40 am during Daybreak With David Hannah and 3:40 pm weekdays during The Afternoon Show with Johnathan Price.

A link to this web page will also be posted to our Facebook page every weekday.

Safety tips are updated every weekday during the contest.

If you are a winner, you will be contacted directly to arrange for the collection of your prize.

Prizes are not being handed out at our radio station directly.
