Ford, Pallister See Approval Ratings Drop

Public opinion on how Premier Doug Ford is dealing with the pandemic is wavering.

A recent poll from Angus Reid shows the Premier with an approval rate of just 55 per cent. That number is down 11 points since August and 14 per-cent from May.

The poll says that Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Andrew Furey (53 per-cent), Alberta Premier Jason Kenny (40 per-cent) and Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister (32 per-cent) are the only Provincial leaders with lower numbers.

For Pallister, that 32 per-cent mark is an 11-point decline from August and 21 points lower than the 53 per-cent approval rating he enjoyed shortly after being elected as Premier in 2016.

Quebec Premier Francois Legault and B.C. Premier John Horgan both sit at the top with a 64 per-cent approval rating.

The complete set of numbers from Angus Reid can be found here.
