Seven Generations Education Institute is showing off some new medical equipment for their paramedic, personal support worker and nursing programs.
Brigette Loeppky is the associate director for Health Disciplines and says the equipment mirrors closely what graduates will see in the real world.
“We have acquired additional high fidelity mannequins for our nursing program, and that’s because of that fact we’ve increased our programming to include the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs,” explains Loeppky.
“We wanted to make sure net the learning outcomes for that program as well. Hence that’s why we’ve obtained some newer equipment.”
There are currently 18 students enrolled in the registered nursing program in Kenora, two in Sioux Lookout and nine in Fort Frances.
