If you’re a brick and mortar shop located in a commercial business area you could get help increasing your digital footprint.
The Northwest Business Centre’s Allyson Pele explains just what the Digital main Street Transformation Grant provides.
“It’s a grant that could provide you with $2500 for training, advisory support and software to increase your capacity through a digital transformation.”
She tells us that there’s a wide range of thing you could use that funding for if your application is approved.
“(It can help you in) developing an e-commerce website, software like a point-of-sale or client relationship management system, or hiring a consultant to increase your visibility online.”
Pele says that it does take a while to fill out the application, which includes a few online training modules.
“The whole application should take you about five hours to complete. We do have three digital service squad team members located around the Kenora-Rainy River district who are able to help you throughout this application period.”
The application deadline for the Digital Main Street Transformation Grant is Monday, November 30th.
