Councillor Doug Judson is among those leading the fight to change the name of Colonization Road, and is now being accused of racism.
Some residents are upset with Judson’s response to several letters posted in the Fort Frances Times and their reaction to the name change.
In posts to social media, Judson refers to them coming mostly from “white people and senior citizens.”
One resident wants an apology.
In response, Judson says the posts speak for themselves.
