New visitor restrictions are being implemented at Riverside Health Care’s long term care facilities across the district.
They impact anyone who has travelled to or from outside of northern Ontario in the last 14 days.
As of today (Wednesday, Nov. 18), if you have been at a Canadian community with a population of 30-thousand or greater, you have to isolate for seven days, then wear a level 3 mask provided by the home for another seven days.
If you were in a smaller Canadian community, you’ll have to wear that mask for 14 days while visiting.
Visitors from outside of Canada remain subject to a 14-day isolation requirement before visiting.
