SIJHL Announces Exhibition Schedule

A good news, bad news day for the Superior International Junior Hockey League.

The league has postponed the start of the regular season to December 14, citing significant challenges with facilities for some teams.

Instead, the league unveils its pre-season schedule, which includes the newly-minted Teleco Cup between the Kam River Fighting Walleye and the Thunder Bay Northstars.

The Fort Frances Lakers will play four exhibition games, two against Red Lake and two against Dryden. The location of those games is still to be determined.
