Education Spending Up: Report

The Fraser Institue says spending on public schools in Ontario has grown 3.1 per cent per student in the past five years.

It finds Ontario provided almost $14-thousand dollars per student during the 2016-17 fiscal year.

By comparison, Quebec’s spending was $11,500.

The Fraser Institue says while spending increased, student enrollment fell by more than 24-thousand 500 students.
