Officials with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will be in International Falls later this month.
They’re holding a public meeting to discuss tentative additions to the list of streams and lakes that fail to meet state water quality standards.
Nearly 730 new water bodies are being considered, including some within Koochiching County.
The meeting takes place at the Falls International Airport on December 17 beginning at 1 p.m.
You can also write comments to the MPCA before January 7.
