High school teachers in the Rainy River district will be walking off the job for a second time next week.
They will be among members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation that will stage another one-day strike in select areas on Wednesday.
In total, nine school boards, including the Rainy River District School Board, will be impacted by the job action.
The planned one-day strike comes on the heels of similar action that took place this past Wednesday.
OSSTF is seeking a new contract with the province but is ramping up its job action because it says there’s been a lack of progress at the bargaining table.
