New Fire Truck Close To Delivery

The town of Fort Frances is close to getting its new pumper fire truck.

Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service’s Fire Chief Tyler Moffitt say the chassis for the truck arrived recently at Fort Garry Fire Trucks in Winnipeg where it’s being outfitted.

Moffitt says it could be ready for inspection near the end of January or early February with delivery to the town shortly afterward.

The new pumper, costing over $600-thousand, will replace an existing vehicle that’s over 25 years old.
