A pair of shutouts for the Fort Frances Muskies hockey teams to start their NorWOSSA seasons.
The boys’ team blanked Kenora’s Beaver Brae Broncos 13-0 in Kenora last night.
Peyton Avis, Brady Bodnarchuk, Jace Jackson and Kaden Kocuiba all scored twice for the Muskies.
They are in tournament action this weekend in Dryden.
The Muskies girls hockey team scored a 3-0 victory over Beaver Brae.
Issy Taylor, Paiten Kinnear and Ashlyn Beck provided the scoring.
The Muskies will face the Dryden Eagles next Tuesday in their first home game of the season.
