Fort Frances Lakers dropped a 3-1 decision to the Red Lake Miners at the Ice for Kids Arena last night.

Noah Loveday with his 11th of the season had the only goal for the home side.

The Lakers are back on the ice this Friday for the start of a home-and-home series with the Thunder Bay North Stars.

 

Fort Frances Muskies court teams ended their regular season in the NorWOSSA AA division by taking three of four games against the visiting Sioux North Warriors.

In girls basketball, Grace Petsnick scored 12 as the Muskies beat the Warriors 59-22.

Tatum Glowasky notched 15 while Heaven States added 14 as the juniors won 62-27.

In boys volleyball, the senior team won in three while the juniors lost in 3.

 

In Atikokan, the Voyageurs court teams won two of three games against the Ignace Falcons in NorWOSSA A division action.

Atikokan won 60-18 in senior girls basketball and in straight games in senior boys volleyball.

Ignace won the junior boys volleyball match in straight games.
