Fort Frances Lakers fell 3-2 last night to the Dryden GM Ice Dogs in Dryden.

Stone Stelzl and Michael Chapman scored for the Lakers

Friday, the Lakers pulled out a 4-3 shoot out win over Red Lake.

Those two teams meet again tomorrow night in Fort Frances.

 

Atikokan Voyageurs senior boys volleyball team captured third place at a tournament in Dryden, beating Kenora’s Beaver Brae Broncos.

 

Four individuals and one team will be inducted into the International Falls Broncos Athletic Hall of Fame

Bob Bateman, Ron Beck, Jeanne Blais-Corrin, Dick LaPage and the 1957 State Championship hockey team will officially be recognized during a ceremony in April.

 

International Falls Bronco Bowling Team went undefeated in Grand Rapids to end their season 11-1 and lay claim to the North Central Conference championship.

The team now prepared for the Conference tournament to take place in International Falls on November 9.
