Weather is playing foul with the finals of the Rainy River District Men’s Fastball League.

Game two of the championship between Barwick and the Fort Frances Braves was cancelled last night.

A date for when the series will resume has not yet been finalized.

 

Meantime the women’s championship will be played out tonight.

The Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League says the Fort Frances Her-ricanes and the Renegades will resume their series as part of what it says will be a doubleheader.

Last week’s opener was halted after ten innings tied at 4 because of darkness.

 

International Falls Broncos girls volleyball team in action last night, suffering a five-set loss to North Woods.

Holly Wold led the team in set assists with 14 while adding 7 digs.

Maria Vollum combined for 19 digs.

Tenneyson Amdahl finished with 8 kills, 8 blocks and five ace serves.

 

The Broncos girls swim and dive completing in head-to-head competition with Northeast Range-Ely.

Both the varsity and junior varsity team outscoring their opponents, combining for 17 wins in total
