A FANTASTIC local band by the name of “Rough Cut Pine” took to the outdoor stage to offer up a FREE concert in Rainy Lake Square on August 1st.
These four guys are really seasoned musicians. They played some truly great covers of classic songs while also offering up a few of their original tunes as well. Their harmonies were wonderful too! Their folk/rock sound was a definite hit with the crowd assembled in The Square.
It’s amazing to have this space in our community and that people are coming out to use it and to enjoy the countless events that are going on there all season long. A HUGE thank you to the organizers of The Rainy Lake Concert Series for a nice evening.
I ran into some good friends that I hadn’t seen in a long time and we all enjoyed some tasty food and beverages that went down REAL easy. Thanks to The Flint House for providing the drinks and the grub.
“Rough Cut Pine” are another shining example of the stellar musical talent that we’re lucky to have right here in The Borderland.
