Students at Robert Moore School in Fort Frances taking part in a march in celebration of Pride week.
Grade 6, 7 and 8 students took part.
Student Ariana Johnson-Potson says it important for students to show support.
Student Ziigwan Paul was among those helping carry the Pride flag around the school’s track.
“It’s important (to take part) since people dislike it sometime,” says Paul.

The walk was in part organized by the school Gay-Straight Alliance.
Teacher Amber Hughes says it’s seen as a safe place at the school for anyone to come and be themselves, no matter their orientation.
For this event, GSA members helped create assorted bling for students to wear during the walk.
