The Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services reports a new forest fire in the Rainy River District.
It happened last Tuesday near Chub Lake, about 20 kilometres west of Atikokan.
The small blaze was called out the same day.
It is just the twelve fire in this district this fire season which officially comes to an end on October 31.
