Taylor Swift dropped a new song today! It’s called “ME!” and it features Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco.

Taylor recently performed at the Time 100 gala and she used her time on stage to also talk about creating her lyrics
She says “I always looked at writing as sort of like a protective armour. Which is weird, because you think of writing about your life, that’s usually a vulnerability, but I think that when you write about your life, it gives you the ability to process your life.”
We all don’t have to be famous music makers to get where she’s coming from right?
Have you ever just sat down and poured your heart out in front of a screen and keyboard or maybe you used a good old fashion pen and paper.
You just keep writing and writing and writing until all the thoughts and feelings and emotions seep out of you.
Right there before you are your most vulnerable parts, but once you have committed them to a place other then your own mind…don’t you feel better and stronger? I know I have.
