Three people have been killed in a motor vehicle collision in the west end of Koochiching County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened Sunday morning just after 11.
Two vehicles came into collision on Highway 1 just west of Northome.
Police identify the victims as 24-year-old Riley Walter Scheidecker of Bloomer, Wisconsin, 27-year-old Joseph Michael Carlson of North Branch, Minnesota and 27-year-old John Clifford Corazzo of Shoreview, Minnesota.
Three other people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Two went to hospital in Bemidji, one with injuries described by police as life-threatening.
The other was transported to hospital in Fargo.
