Fire damages house in north end

Officials have not released the cause of a house fire in the north end of Fort Frances.

Members of the Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service were called to 400 block of Sixth Street West at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

The ten firefighters from the Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service, along with a pumper truck, an aerial ladder truck and rescue pickup, remained on scene for much of the afternoon.

There were no injuries.

The site has now been turned over to the OPP.
