4 arrested in Couchiching drug bust

A three-month drug investigation has led police to arrest four people in Couchiching First Nation.

Treaty Three Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police searched a home to find unspecified quantities of cocaine and crack cocaine.

Five-thousand dollars in cash and items related to drug-trafficking were also seized.

Drug-trafficking charges have been laid against a 59-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman, both from Couchiching and a 34-year-old man from Seine River.

All three have since been released from custody on several conditions and will return to court in April.

Police have not yet indicated any charges against the fourth person involved.
