A candidate for Emo township council has had his nomination rejected.
Gary Judson filed last week for councillor.
A post on the township’s website says the nomination was rejected by the town’s Municipal Returning Officer.
According to the notice, Judson failed to submit financial statements related to his bid to become reeve in the township of Chapple in the 2018 municipal election.
All candidates are required to submit those statements by the end of an election year.
