Two dead after collision east of Dryden

Two people have been killed in a multiple vehicle crash east of Dryden.

The OPP say three vehicles were involved in the collision Friday morning around 10:50.

Four people in the same vehicle had to be taken to hospital by Northwest EMS, and despite life-saving efforts two passed away.

Highway 17 was finally open to two-way Traffic around 7:00 Saturday morning.

The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management Team and members of the Dryden OPP continue to investigate.
