3 charged in Fort Frances drug bust

Provincial Police have seized $26,000 in illegal drugs and other drug-related items from a home in Fort Frances.

Quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and psilocybin were discovered when provincial police executed a search warrant on Birch Road last Saturday.

Police say the warrant was served as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

Two women, aged 58 and 40, and a 41-year-old man were arrested on drug-trafficking charges.

They were later released and scheduled to appear back in court in March.
