FIREFLY receives several NOSM award nominations

Several employees if FIREFLY have been nominated for Northern Ontario School of Medicine awards.

They have been recognized for working with students from NOSM, and are called preceptors.

Some of the categories they are nominated in are Commitment to Clinical Education, Innovative Preceptor, and Interprofessional Collaborator.

Zoe Campbell who is an Occupational Therapist (Clinical Manager / Mental Health Counsellor), has been nominated in all three categories, while four other people have also been nominated.

They are: Stephanie Chu, Occupational Therapist (Mental Health Counsellor), Amie Mathews (Occupational Therapist), Jocelyn Kennedy (Speech-Language Pathologist), and Kaitlin Sanders (Speech-Language Pathologist).

The NOSM awards will be handed out on May 12th.
