Two people have died after a crash between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck on Highway 11-17 at Highway 102.
It happened around 10:20 Saturday night at Sistonens Corners.
Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Mike Golding confirms the passenger of the transport truck, Ahmed Omer of Calgary, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver, Parmohit Chaudhary of Acton, Ontario, died of his injuries at the hospital.
Four people in the pickup were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, including a six-year-old who was airlifted to London, Ontario for treatment.
Golding says it appears the westbound transport truck went through a stop sign, striking the pickup truck.
OPP are still investigating the cause of the collision.
The highway was closed until around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
