Legion Ladies Seek Members

The Fort Frances Legion Ladies Auxiliary is looking for new members.

President Emily Watson says members are involved in several community events.

“We look for our members to support us when we are doing many different functions. Our functions are mostly used to raise funds for a variety of organizations and services in our community,” says Watson.

The Auxiliary is also looking to fill two vacancies on its board of directors.

A secretary and second vice-president are needed.

“The secretary takes minutes at our meetings. For the second vice-president, it is an opportunity to come in if you have not been involved with the Auxiliary prior to this and spend the time learning about all of the things that we do. There’s ample

opportunity for them to get involved in the variety of things that we do in the community.”

You can find more information by calling the Legion in Fort Frances or Watson at 271-4024.
