Voting is now underway in Minnesota in the ‘Name a Snowplow’ contest.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will name one plow in each of its eight divisions.
A request for suggested names attracted more than 11,000 submissions.
That list has been narrowed down to fifty finalists.
Some of the suggestions include Betty Whiteout, Sled Zeppelin, Lord Coldemort and Scoopy Doo and Scraper Two.
Others were suggestions put forward in a similar contest held last winter.
To cast your vote, up to eight times per ballot, go to mndot.gov/nameasnowplow.
Voting will continue until January 26.
The top eight fan favourites will be announced later this winter.
