Treaty #3 Police Unveil New Vehicle Decal

The Treaty #3 Police Service has unveiled a new logo in honour of Red Dress Day.

The vehicle decal pays tribute to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

The decal was designed by Couchiching band member Fallon Andy, with input from the Treaty Three Women’s Council, an elder and others.

Treaty #3 Police say officers brought the idea forward as a way of generating discussion about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

The decal was unveiled on Wednesday, May 5, which is designated Red Dress Day in Canada.
