Charges laid in collision on Frog Creek Road

Provincial Police have charged a Fort Frances man with impaired driving and driving while suspended.

The charges stem from a single-vehicle collision that occurred on Frog Creek Road in Alberton Township.

OPP say the driver fled after a vehicle hit the ditch but was located a short time later.

Testing revealed the man to be impaired.

Police also learned the 33-year-old was prohibited from driving due to a previous court order.

He now awaits a bail hearing.
