Vaccines are now being administered to long-term care staff, essential caregivers and high priority health care workers across the Rainy River district.
Riverside Health Care began administering the first doses of the Moderna vaccine on Tuesday.
Dr. Lorena Jenks was the first area doctor to receive the vaccine.
“Everyone should get the COVID-19 vaccine, including the expectant mother,” says Dr. Jenks.
“Trust the science,” added Dr. Marc Ruppenstein.
Long-term care resident who were inoculated last month also received their second dose this week.
