The Fort Frances Daycare Centre is being sold.
Tom Veert Contracting is purchasing it from the town for $300-thousand.
The deal closes this Friday.
President Tom Veert not ready to comment yet.
A purchase agreement identifies plans to rezone the property for both commercial and residential purposes.
There’s also an option to buy adjacent land.
The daycare became expendable when Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board opened its own centres.
It was eyed as a possible home for the Fort Frances Senior Centre, but its board rejected the idea because of cost.
