Widespread power outages on Monday morning delayed school openings and school buses.
Donald Young, Nestor Falls and Crossroads Schools opened one hour later than usual.
School buses were also delayed by one hour.
Almost 1700 homes and businesses were without power at the height of the outage.
The lights came back on at around 9 am.
