Voting Continues in Municipal Election

Voting continues to be slow in the municipal election in Fort Frances.

The town reports turnout after two days to be 15.4 per cent.

That is almost double the number from Monday.

A total of 722 votes have been cast through the Internet.

Ninety votes were made over the telephone.

Voting continues until Monday at 8 p.m.

If you are having trouble or don’t have access to a computer to vote, you can visit the Voter Help Centre located at the Fort Frances Civic Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The final turnout for the 2018 election was 51 per cent.
